WONDERS OF MODERN SCIENCE

Modern science has worked innumerable wonders. One after one, it is providing mankind with wonders.

Electricity can be termed as the first wonder of modern science.
It is the driving force of modern civilization. Without electricity life would become totally motionless.

Television is one of the greatest wonders of modern science. It gives both image and voice of the speaker. The introduction of satellite TV channels has added a new dimension to this.
Computer, another contribution of modern science, is a substitute for the human brain. It lessens our work load, increases our capacity and makes our lives easy and simple. The invention of nuclear energy is a great wonder of modern science

THE GAME YOU LIKE MOST OR YOUR FAVOURTIE GAME for class 6-10

THE GAME YOU LIKE MOST
OR YOUR FAVOURTIE GAME

There are mainly two kinds of game in the world. They are outdoor and indoor games. Cricket is popular outdoor game. I am a cricket player. So, I like it   most. It is my favourite game.
Cricket is an international game. It is also a famous sport. It is a very intersting game too. It gives delight to both the players and the spectators. I like it most because it is full of thrill and excitement.
Cricket is played between two teams. Each team has eleven players.

Cricket is played on a wide ground. The smooth and grassy field is needed for it. Two wooden bats, a ball, two sits of stumps and some pads are necessary to play the game. The wickets are pitched   opposite   and parallel at a distance of 22 yards. It is played generally during winter.
One team bats and another team bowls and fields. Batsman heats the ball and runs between wickets for runs. If the ball touches the boundary line, four runs are scored. If it flies over the boundary line, six runs scored. The batsman may be out in some specific ways. Thus when all, except one, batsman are out, the innings is ended. The team that collects more runs is declared winner.

Cricket helps the players to keep in good health. It also develops the spirit of co-operation and brotherhood.

The cricket is the game of the brave. It is a good from of exercise. It makes us cheerful and obedient. It also teaches us discipline. So cricket should be encouraged in school and colleges.

Aim in life for class 6-10

YOUR AIM IN LIFE

Life is not a bed roses. It is full of thorns. Man lives in deeds but not in years. Hence there arises aim in life. A man without an aim is just like a boat without its boatman.
Opinions vary, temperaments disagree and there is, therefore, much difference in human likes and dislikes. Choice varies from man to man. So it is not an easy task to choose a profession. Deep thinking and knowledge is needed for this purpose. This is why, after a deep  thought I cherish a great desire to be a good teacher with a view to imparting education to our illiterate masses.
Education is the backbone of a nation and a good teacher is the backbone of education. No nation can prosper without education. Eighty percent of our people are illiterate. So to educate them is, in fact, a noble task.
After taking master’s degree I shell go back to my village. I shall in co- operation with the villagers set up a school to teach the young boys and girls. The young educated and talented persons  will be appointed to impart education to the illiterate. I shall render my services to them also. I know teachers are ill- paid and ill- clad. They are poor too. They are the builders of the nation. In spite of this, nation gets much benefit from their services.
I shall make them able to write the three R’s.
Teaching is a noble profession. Thought it dose not bring much economic benefit, yet it creates a noble and high position of teachers in the society

The News Paper for class 6-10

News Paper
The newspaper is a very useful thing. We cannot do without it even for a day. Newspaper reading has become a regular habit.
There are various types of newspaper, such as dailes, weeklies, bi-weeklies and monthlies. Daily newspaper give us important news and views about daily affairs. So they are popular to us.
China was the first country to introduce newspaper. During the Mughals a type of manuscript newspaper was published. In our country  ‘Samacher  Darpan’ was the first newspaper. It was published during the English rule.
Newspaper  supply us with every kind of news. People of all tastes find interest with the news;  the businessman can know the price of his articles, the sportsman knows the news of game and the sports. Newspaper help the growth of publice opnion. The people can express thire opnion and demand through them. The student can enchance their ideas by reading them regularly.
But newspapers have some defects too. They some -times create party - fellings among the people and cause a great harm.
The value of newspaper is very great. We all should read it regularly

Some village women were going home with pitchers filled with wa ter and some were coming for filling pitchers. At 12 a.m. we came to a bazer. The boatmen cast anchor. We get down and bought some sweetmeats. We rested there for about half an hour.
The boatmen sailed again. The beautiful scenery charmed our mind. At about 2 p.m.we reached Chanpur ghat.

My favourite Hobby or Your Hobby for class 6-10

My favourite Hobby or Your Hobby
By the term ’hobby’ means one’s pleasant occupation but not main business. It removes the monotony of daily life. It also less expensive.
There are various kinds of hobbies such as- fishing, gardening, riding, stamp collecting, snap-talking, angling, etc.
My hobby is gardening. My garden is in front of my reading room. I find much pleasure to work in the garden.
There are strong fence around the garden. I work in the garden regularly. I make the soil loose, weed out the grass and other harmful plants. I water the plants every morning and evening. Roses, Lilies, Marigolds, Sun-flowers, Rajanigandhas and other important flowers are in the garden. By blooming they add beauty to the garden. These flowers spread sweet scent all over the house. I plant new plants. I feel much joy.
Hobby is really useful. It is a food of mind. Absence of hobby creates void in our mind. It takes me out from the dull routine. This helps me physically, mentally and financially. It is creative and delightful. It generates the scene of beauty which charms all people.

All work and no play make jack a dull boy. So everybody should have a hobby but not at the cost of main occupation.

A village market for class 6-10

A village   market
A  village  market  is  a place  where   villagers  meet  to buy  and  sell  goods. There  are two  kinds of village  markets  in  Bangladesh   one sits  daily, called the  bazaar ; and the other sits periodically, called hat.
A village market generally sits buy  the side of  a river or a canal or under the shade of a banian tree in an open field.
The village market sits twice a week in the afternoon and breaks up after evening. A  bazaar sits every morning or evening daily. Of course, permanent shops remain open from morning to till 10 0’clock at night.
In a village market, shops of the same kind sit in one place Thus there are vegetables market, fish market, cloth market, rice and paddy market, betel leaf and betel nut market and so on. Of all the markets, the fish market is the most crowded and noisy place.
The permanent shops usually sell cloth, oil, sweetmeats, stationery and grocery articles. Sellers begin to gather in the market in the afternoon,  and in the bazaar in the morning and afternoon. There is no fixed price in any village market. There is more in the fish market.
A village market is very useful to the villagers. People can easily sell and buy necessary things in a short time. It also serves as a meeting place of the villagers.
Villagers not only buy and sell goods but also get news and views in the village market.

Therefore, we should try to improve its condition.

Knowledge and Wisdom:

Ilm and Hiqmat / Knowledge and Wisdom:
Knowledge means knowing, which depends on education.
Knowledge is a power,by which everything can be known. Distinction can be made between truth and false, “Imaan” and “kufor”good and bad by knowledge only. A king or a ruler is honoured only in his country, whereas a wise and learned man honoured all over the World. The first revelation that came to the Prophet Mohammed (saw) was Iqra i.e.read; its significance is to acquire knowledge. To acquire knowledge is the first and foremost duty of a Muslim before  beginning  his intial prayer. We are not so eager to acquire knowledge on Islam, Alquran and hadith as much as we are eager to acquire knowledge to lead our prosperous life in this World. It is forbidden to seek knowledge that diverts us from the way Allah and attracts towerds evil deeds. It is obligatory duty for every male and female Muslim acquire preliminary knowledge about Islam,Imaan,Salat,Zakat,Jihad,Kufr,Bidat etc also. So that one can know Allah(God),His commands, establish prayer, distinguish between Imaan and Kufr,Halal amd haram(legal and iligale),Praise be to Allah who has given us Ilm and Hiqmat (Knowledge and Wisdom)
